Test Your Knowledge

THE GUILD IS ABOUT KNOWLEDGE AND LEARNING OF MOLES AND THEIR CONTROL-

Many groups and organisations may offer what is referred to as accreditation which is considered as a type of quality assurance - The Guild cannot and will not -unlike other groups allow members to claim to be accredited under the title of membership to the Guild, as it would have no evidence of  educational or practical skills of that member.

However the Guild is aware of the need in today's working environment of the requirement to have such skill acknowledged.  Members may wish to have that education recognised and credited internally. This may be achieved in the form of a random test paper. Members will be required to complete a set of questions relating to moles and mole trap use. They will be given time to source any answers to better their skills and knowledge. Upon completion to the required standard a certificate will be awarded and that member may then display that endorsement. The level of the test is a basic knowledge with further learning and recognition to be made available later to progress this to a better and higher level should the member/s wish to proceed. For further information contact  molecourse@aol.com

This is a FREE of charge service, you do not have to buy accreditation - -earn  it!

MODERN MOLE CATCHING    --    safe systems of working

The demand for traditional solutions to modern problems has created the need for even molecatchers to fall into line with certain requirements. Those members who work for large organisations or local authorities may now be asked to produce a method statement or safe system of work. To many this may seem a little daunting as the need for risk assessments may have never been a consideration before. HELP IS AT HAND

The Guild have produced a small document explaining the requirements in relation to the risk assessment. It also includes a template that may be printed and filled in. This is available to accredited members of the Guild------------- email to molematters@aol.com  warning this is a 10 page document
