To show a commitment to the welfare of moles whilst maintaining a humane standard of

control that is recognized as providing a benchmark of service higher than that of others.

Membership of the Guild is available to anyone providing the person/s joining agree to

carryout all mole control in accordance to the terms & conditions

As you might expect the Guild of British Molecatchers has entry requirements that many involved in mole control may find hard to comply too. If you genuinely share our concerns and beliefs for the future of traditional mole control in the United Kingdom, then there is no reason why you should not qualify for membership.

The Guild of British Molecatchers fully supports the need to provide professional services whilst maintaining levels of respect and welfare through skill and professionalism.

By joining the Guild and displaying the recognisable logo you are presenting reliability and trustworthy services for mole catching that has the benefits of support and advice and no cost implications.

There are no costs for becoming a supporter of the Guild. Simply fill in the form below and

submit. We will contact you confirming your application.

HOW TO APPLY FOR FULL MEMBERSHIP

Full membership is available which entitles a FREE listing on the find a molecatcher page-

Help I have a Mole!-

Full members are also accepted for the accreditation process through to the Master

Molecatcher level which is fully endorsed by the National Pest Technicians Association

TO APPLY SIMPLY MAKE A WISH

The Guild of British Molecatchers has chosen to help children with life threatening illnesses here in the United Kingdom.

Full membership is by a donation to the Make a wish foundation UK - charity registration Nos 295672/SC037479

We ask that a minimum donation of £15-00p for a full years membership be made -Your membership

donation is paid directly to this charity. The Guild will receive NO monies from your membership

which may be immediately gift aided at no extra cost to you!

	charity donation does not automatically grant membership, it is only one part of the full membership

	application process. No refunds will be issued if joining member is unable to fulfil all membership

	requirements or is later found to be in breach of the guilds terms, conditions and codes of practice and subsequently removed from the guild members list

full membership subject to approval and the discretion of the guild administration team

the guild reserves the right to refuse full membership

Persons applying for Full Membership must have and be able to produce evidence of public liability insurance for the purpose of mole control.

Amateur molecatchers applying for Full membership do not need to produce any evidence of insurance as it is assumed that such persons in this category are not involved in mole control for gain.

Amateur molecatchers cannot advertise their services or take advantage of the Accreditation process beyond Level 3.

Terms and conditions of membership

The Guild of British Molecatchers recognizes the use of traps to control moles. Any person undertaking the use of any other form of control for the removal of moles will be in violation of these terms and conditions and will be openly removed from the membership.

All members agree to adopt the Guild of British Molecatchers code of practice in any activity of mole control and to abide by the contents contained within the code at all times.

In agreement to these terms & conditions and code of practice the member may display the Guild logo as confirmation that they operate with integrity, skill and respect towards maintaining a humane service of mole control. The Guild also permits the displaying of the logo by members on other listings as an indication to the high standard that person provides.

	Molecatchers are deemed as having one quarry species only - the mole
	Pest controllers are those single operators who undertake mole control by trap use as well as controlling any other species
	Pest Control Companies are those that employ a person/s within an organisation but undertake mole control by trap use as well as controlling other species.
	Gardener/garden service supplier are those supplying professional horticultural services and provide mole control by trap use
	Supporters of the guild are also welcome, these may be individuals, groups or companies not engaged in any form of pest control
